Dr. Bugg is Megan’s father.  He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and obtained a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from Illinois State University.  He spent 33 years in public education with his final 18 years serving as the Superintendent of Coal City School District #1 in Coal City, IL.  In retirement, Dr. Bugg now resides in Lodi, WI with his wife of 32 years, Debbie.  Following Megan’s passing in March, 2022, he and his family started the Megan’s Mission Foundation to fulfill the promise he made to his daughter that he would always keep fighting for her cause.
