Megan Bugg Memorial Golf Outing
was held June 27, 2026
The totals are in and our 7th annual Megan’s Mission Golf Outing smashed its goal again raising a net total of $127,895! The golf portion of the event was followed by a dinner, formal presentation, raffles, auction, and live music.
These funds will be used to continue supporting some of the most promising and innovative childhood cancer research in the country taking place in the “Megan Bugg Global Rhabdomyosarcoma Research Laboratory” at the Children’s Cancer Therapy Development Institute.
Last year, Megan's Mission Foundation introduced the Megan Bugg Courage Award to honor someone who embodies the same courage, determination, and strength in the face of adversity that Megan did. The award also recognizes individuals who dedicate their lives to something bigger than themselves — making a lasting difference in the lives of others and leaving the world a better place.
This year's recipient is Nick Dziuban, who sadly passed away earlier this year after a long battle with cancer. As you'll hear from his family, friends, colleagues, and community, Nick lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and service to others.
"I cannot think of a more deserving person for this year's recipient of the Megan Bugg Courage Award than Nick Dziuban. The legacy he left for his family, friends, students, and athletes will live on forever." — Dr. Kent Bugg
Thank you to Nick's wife, Amanda, for accepting this recognition on Nick's behalf. We are honored to celebrate Nick's extraordinary legacy and the countless lives he touched.
The Megan’s Mission Foundation will continue to honor the life and legacy of Megan Bugg by continuing her fight to eradicate the nightmare of childhood cancer. Thank you to everyone who made the 7th Annual Megan Bugg Memorial Golf Outing such a huge success.
